Growing up in Taiwan, I was always fascinated by how language shapes our understanding of the world. When I first started learning English, I struggled with textbook methods that felt disconnected from real life. It wasn't until I started having actual conversations that everything clicked.

This experience shaped my approach to teaching Chinese. I realized that most language courses focus too heavily on grammar rules and vocabulary lists, while missing what really matters: the ability to communicate naturally and connect with others.

我開始教中文是因為我想幫助學生體驗用另一種語言表達自己的美好感覺。每當看到學生第一次成功用中文點餐、或者和台灣朋友聊天時，那種喜悅是無價的。

Today, my teaching philosophy centers on three pillars: natural conversation, cultural context, and personalized learning. Every student is unique, and I believe the best results come from adapting to your specific goals, interests, and learning style.
